Advance your Career with an Associate Degree in Nursing.

Whether you’re looking to advance or start a new career, Rivier University’s ASN degree prepares you to move directly into beginning nursing positions in hospitals and other acute-care and extended-care facilities, and other structured healthcare settings. Designed for high school graduates, career-changers, and those who have earned a bachelor’s degree in another discipline, the ASN program provides the academic preparation necessary to take National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) and become a registered nurse.

State-of-the-art Nursing Simulation Labs
Rivier’s Nursing Simulation and Clinical Education Center is home to some of the most sophisticated nursing simulation technology. Learning in this environment provides the highest level of preparation before caring for live patients.

LPN to ASN Opportunity
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) can receive advanced standing in the degree program. Advanced standing reduces the number of courses you need to complete at the University, enabling you to finish your degree in less time and at a lower cost. In addition to expanded care and job opportunities, on average registered nurses earn 50% more than LPNs.
